No, you don’t need a doctor’s referral to see a physiotherapist. Physiotherapy is accessible to anyone.
If you do have a referral or relevant medical documents, please bring them to your initial appointment. This helps us keep communication clear and ensures your care is well coordinated.

Not necessarily. The idea of “no pain, no gain” doesn’t always apply.
Some treatment techniques or assessments may cause mild discomfort, and it’s also common to feel some temporary soreness afterward. Your physiotherapist will explain why a technique is being used so you understand what to expect. If you have any concerns during or after treatment, please let your physiotherapist know so we can adjust your care.

We want to help as many people as possible and understand that life can get busy. If you need to change an appointment, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice. Your clothing should allow easy movement of the area being treated. For lower limb injuries, wear shorts that allow full movement. For neck or shoulder injuries, a singlet is preferred to expose the area. Changing facilities are available if needed.

Follow-up sessions are typically 30 minutes. Longer sessions are available if needed to focus on exercise, rehabilitation, or specific goals.
