ROB O’MAHONY

Principal Physiotherapist & Managing Director

Hi, I’m Rob! My physiotherapy career began with six years in private practice across North Perth, and Leederville, where I developed my skills in manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation. While playing for University Football Club, I developed a particular interest in knee and shoulder injuries after experiencing a few myself.

In 2016, I relocated to Singapore and joined a busy sports physiotherapy clinic managing a large number of orthopaedic cases. I had the opportunity to work with leading orthopaedic and sports medicine specialists in both Australia and Singapore.

I combined physiotherapy with my passion for sport, managing athletes for SCC Rugby and the Singapore National Women’s Rugby Sevens team. I also worked in medical teams for elite and amateur contact sport events including Muay Thai, Mixed Martial Arts, and Rugby, with one career highlight being part of the Head Injury Assessment medical team for the international HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens.

I’m thrilled to be back in Perth, close to friends and family, enjoying outdoor exercise and supporting the mighty Eagles. I currently work with volleyball, soccer, long-distance runners, and people who enjoy HIIT and weight training.

What I love most about being a physiotherapist is forming strong partnerships with my clients and guiding them to safely return to the activities they love — often performing better than ever.
