Chenbo Sun

Physiotherapist

Hi, I’m Chenbo! I’m a Curtin-trained physiotherapist with a strong interest in sports injuries, running-related injuries and orthopaedic rehabilitation.

What I enjoy most about physiotherapy is helping people return to the activities they love, whether that’s getting back on the sporting field, hitting the running trails or simply feeling stronger and more confident in everyday life.

My experience spans private practice, hospital-based orthopaedic rehabilitation and working with WA State League soccer clubs. I enjoy helping people through all stages of recovery, from managing acute sporting injuries to rebuilding strength and confidence following surgery.

As a runner who has experienced injuries myself, I understand how frustrating it can be when pain or injury interrupts your training. This has shaped my interest in running rehabilitation, particularly the importance of managing training loads and progressively building strength and capacity.

My approach combines clinical reasoning, hands-on treatment, education and individualised exercise rehabilitation. I believe in taking the time to understand each person's goals and working together towards a meaningful outcome.

For me, physiotherapy is about more than treating an injury. It's about helping people build confidence in their bodies and achieve things they may not have thought possible.

Outside the clinic, you'll often find me hiking, running along the Swan River or training at the gym. I'm also a big coffee enthusiast and enjoy experimenting with different brewing methods, exploring new flavours and cooking good food. I love learning and getting the little details right, something I also bring to my approach as a physiotherapist!
